Repairs under way to Orrick roads, alleys

Thad Aber, operator of a huge road-repair machine that strips old asphalt before a new surface can be applied, put the size of Orrick's potholes into perspective. "There are some of them big enough to eat this machine," said Aber, who works for Tandem Paving, the Blue Springs company hired to patch and repair Orrick's paved roads and alleys.
